Canadian-born Marc Kimelman is an award-winning choreographer of stage and screen. He has worked with Katy Perry, Deborah Cox, the NBA, Neil Young, Kurt Browning, Chaka Khan, and was featured in the Hairspray feature film dancing alongside John Travolta.  He has choreographed numerous episodes of the N’s Degrassi: The Next Generation, Instant Star, and Corvid Picture’s soon to be released film Love Letter from an Open Grave.   He choreographed critically-acclaimed productions of West Side Story, Little Shop of Horrors, John & Jen, High School Musical, BoyGroove: The Musical, Company, Assassins, and A New Brain. Marc spent the last 2 years working at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.  He recently choreographed a workshop of a new play called Holiday Diary and his work was featured in two dance showcases in April.   www.marckimelman.com

Class Description:

Marc’s Street Jazz class is a hot fusion of classic jazz and funk.  Class starts with a thorough warm-up and is followed by dynamic and challenging across the floor combinations.  Combos are true to Marc’s movement style: innovative, musical, and hard-hitting.  Class is designed to strengthen your ability to pick up choreography, perform dynamically and have a great time.  Some dance training required. Come work it out!
