Leonides D. Arpon, a Filipino born in Israel, has presented his works in various showcases in New York such as DanceSpace Center's Wave of Humanity, Joyce Soho, the Merce Cunningham Theater, the Theater of Riverside Church, and has taught workshops in Israel at the Bat-Dor Dance School, Bikorei Etim, Studio B and Thelma Yalin School of Performing Arts, in Japan at the Tokyo and Osaka Schools of Music and in the U.S.
He is a recipient of the American Israeli Cultural Foundation Scholarship and the Princess Grace Award. Mr. Arpon has worked with Karole Armitage, Arthur Aviles, the Bat-Dor Dance Company, Lucianno Cannitto, Randy Duncan, Heidi Latsky, Earl Mosley, Igal Perry, Richard Rivera, Matthew Rushing, Nathan Trice and Kevin Wynn.
