The PMT Youth Dance Program offers comprehensive training in dance, specializing in Ballet, Tap, West African Dance, Contemporary Jazz and Hip Hop.   The Youth Workshops are open to all students, ages 4 to 16.  Our curriculum provides the training for students who are looking towards a career in  dance and the performing arts. It is also suited for students who wish to study  dance solely for recreation and  enjoyment of the physical and artistic aspects.  The workshop provides a very positive and supportive environment for all students with their various goals and backgrounds.

Our classes are carefully designed by our highly accomplished and experienced teaching staff to help students grow as young dancers  and to develop a strong foundation in dance technique while maintaining a fun and stress-free environment.  Our staff specializes in giving students more personalized, one-on-one attention to make sure they can maximize their potential.

Students will also learn a sense professionalism, self-discipline, concentration, self-confidence, the value of hard work and how to work in groups with their peers.  In the end, students will gain a love and appreciation for dance as an art form and a means of self-expression.  At the end of each session, students will have the opportunity to perform in our studio recital.

PMT Youth Dance students will have the opportunity to audition for the PMT Youth Dance Collectice (YDC), PMT Dance Company's junior company.  Students in the YDC will have the opportunity to train and perform in professional venues with PMT Dance Company and present work in the PMT Seasonal Dance Series
