Kaelyn Arnold

Jazz Dance

 

     Kaelyn trained extensively in ballet in Virginia and attended intensive programs with American Ballet Theatre, The Rock School of Ballet and Orlando Ballet.  After years of performing in classical ballets, she branched out into musical theatre and jazz throughout school.  She then moved to New York City and began to study jazz under the tutelage of Heather Oberly.  She also trained with Frank Hatchet, and Debbie Wilson at Broadway Dance Center.

     Kaelyn was a featured dancer in showcases at Broadway Dance Center and PMT.  She has also been featured as a dancer and choreographer in Cappies: Critics and Awards Program in Washington DC, as well as in regional productions of Fame, Pippin, and Rocked.

Class Description:

Kaelyn's class is high energy, fun choreography where dancers are encouraged to develop their own individual style in a low pressure environment.  Her warm up focuses on correct body placement to increase flexibility and strength, followed by a breakdown of basic jazz techniques into easy to understand components.
