Christopher "Dementia" Lim began dancing in 1999, while attending the University of Michigan.  Upon completing a B.S. in Computer Engineering, Dementia moved to New York City to begin his double life: Engineer by day and Popper by night.  He trained with Vibe Elements, The Electric Boogaloos, Shallow, and Bam Bam.

Dementia won numerous popping battles such as NYC's Street Styles, Boston's Unity and Respect, NYC's annual House Dance Conference, The Dynasty Rockers 30th Anniversary Celebration, Battle Zone, Battle in the Burbs, as well as placed in the semi-finals of  Chicago's City vs.City, and California's B-Boy Summit.
Dementia's credits include the Missy Elliot video "Cop That Disk", performances on MTV's TRL, Brooklyn Cable Access Television, Dance Space Raw Material, the Annual Hip Hop Theatre Festival, the Los Angeles Urban Dance Festival, and Fringe Festival of International Dance Artists in Toronto.
Currently, Dementia holds NYC Popshop, a weekly practice session at PMT Dance Studios, bringing together experienced and novice dancers to exchange creative ideas and popping techniques.
