Class Description

Some of you might be wondering what exactly is street jazz?  For Samantha, it is a fusion of basic jazz elements with a hip-hop twist.  We don't keep chests up right, we drop them low.  We don't with our arms rounded and our feet pointed, we throw our arms into new positions and keep our feet flexed.  Most importantly, we don't just hit the beat --- we learn how to ride it.  By taking street jazz, you will discover new ways to control and release your movements so your style has both precision and fluidity.  It's time to take the old-school jazz you know and combine it with the new-school funk you want!
