Listed below are a variety of Performance Workshops for various levels. The total price, including all performance fees, are listed for each section.
HIP HOP/FUNK & BREAK DANCE PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS
Students will have the opportunity to perform a number of Hip Hop/Funk dance pieces. So if you missed out the last time, or just want to experience each dance again, sign up today! The Hip Hop sections feature the choreographies of Pavan Thimmaiah, director of PMT and choreographer/dancer in various commercial and TV venues, and Levi Claiborne, dancer and choreographer for artists ranging from Mariah Carey to Teddy Reilly. This season also features a NEW Break Dance Performance Workshop!

JAZZ DANCE PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
Our Jazz Dance Performance Workshop features one of the newest member of PMT's Dance Faculty, Heather Oberly.

Advanced Beginner Jazz Dance Performance Workshop | TBA | 2/17 | OPEN | $105.00 |
WEST AFRICAN DANCE PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
This workshop will focus on Djembe dance from Guinea, West Africa. Traditional songs will be taught to accompany the dance, and students will gain knowledge of the origins and meanings of the dances they perform. Over a period of eight weeks, complex choreography will be rehearsed and students will learn to move with choreography and practice solo dancing. They will become familiar with the rhythms and the relationship of the dance to the music. Live percussion. All levels welcome!
