Class
Description:
Amanda’s class is a fusion of
contemporary, jazz and ballet directly from Europe, with american influences.
The class starts with a general warm up focused on releasing the body followed
by the study of technique with plies, tandues and the research of the lines of
the body.
Floor work is an essential
part of Amanda’s class. An intense stretching helps the students to extend
their own moviment and to use all the space. A diagonal exercise mixes the
principal technique steps( turns, jumps ecc) with free movement and introduces
the students to steps and concepts they will find in the final combo. All
types of music can be used for the choregraphy in order to increase the
student’s versability.
