Mariah Steele grew up with modern dance training at the Steffi Nossen School of Dance in White Plains, New York.  She graduated from Princeton University with an  Anthropology Major and Certificate in Dance and has just arrived in New York City.  She has worked with various choreographers including Ze'eva Cohen, Rebecca Lazier and Nancy Lushington.  Her choreography has been shown at the Dance Theater Lab at SUNY Purchase, the Berlind Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey, and the Bates Dance Festival Student Showcase.
