Class Description
She teaches a strong, athletic, technical Jazz built on correct placement, finding stability and freedom in the movement while exploring musicality and style. Her goal is to move dance forward by broadening the perspective behind the approach and taking movement out of the ordinary. She encourages the dancer to do the work from the inside out to become a creative artist that brings their unique qualities to the work.
Ginger’s style of Jazz comes from her diverse background in jazz, modern and ballet. She does a variety of challenging choreography that works on several genres of jazz: contemporary, lyrical, and commercial (rock, pop, thrash). She also teaches jumps and turns. Her objective is to build technically strong, artistic, versatile, independent thinking dancers.
