Why We Need Your Support:
-
Arts Facilities, including dance studios, are not eligible for most of the Financial Assistance available to others.
-
Artists are finding it equally as hard to find help. Some of our artists are facing hardships finding food and a place to live.
-
Your donations support our artists, other students who are struggling and the business that houses all of this.

TWEET (they/them)• TRANCE
Tweet (they/them) is a trans non-binary performer and choreographer with a mission to create spaces for trans, non-binary, and gender nonconforming people to find wholeness through dance. They trained at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York as a Jazz/Contemporary trainee before going on the National Tour of Fame the Musical as an ensemble member and Lambchops (u/s). They worked as the dance captain on the Carnival PRIDE with Carnival Cruise Lines and in regional theaters in the years after Fame closed. In 2018-2019, Tweet acted as the Associate Choreographer and ensemble dancer of Oscar at the Crown, an immersive nightclub musical at 3 Dollar Bill in Bushwick and they’ve been making their way in the queer nightlife scene ever since; working in GoGo and burlesque and with drag artists such as Alaska Thunderf*ck (RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars season 2 winner). Tweet also co-choreographed Yvie Oddly’s (RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 winner) number for World Pride 2019 at the Barclays Center.
