A True NYC Dance Experience™
Celebrating 21 Years - 2001-2022
ZAVON "CRAYZAY" SCIPIO • HIP - HOP

Zavon is a New York native from the Bronx. From a young age, Zavon has always had a passion for dance and was always found dancing at family functions, following dance crazes, and imitating choreography from music videos. It wasn’t until the age of 16, that his best friend introduced him to the world of “Breakin”. This led Zavon into free styling and choreography- which allowed him to choreograph and perform in his first piece at 18 years old.
When Zavon started taking classes at PMT Dance studio, he was invited to be part of PMT Dance Company where he performed at Madison Square Garden, The Cutting Room and the Barclays Center. He then went on to model for NY Fashion week. Zavon hope's to continue to grow a unique style as a dancer/choreographer and have the chance to travel, helping to build a community of dance and inspire dancers around the world!
Class Description:
This class will focus on how to dance to and identify different layers in music- specifically, how to dance to and distinguish "hard hitting" or "smooth" beats. Students will learn proper weight placement to enable the ability to stay light on their feet, no matter how fast the music! Zavon's goal is to teach you how to isolate and utilize different parts of your body and to make you a more versatile dancer. Let's get crazy!
