She is currently professor of dance at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, where she has been teaching since 2002.

Intensive Description:

What exactly is contemporary dance, and how is it related to modern and post-modern dance? Through set movement and improvisation, we’ll explore principles of contem-po-mod practice (“technique”), which will transition us into dance-making—prioritizing experimentation and investigating strategies for invention, toward meaning-making, in choreography.
