Lars Kong
Breaking
Born and raised in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, Lars is known for his energetic and laid back nature. Dancing since he was 16 years old, Lars started as a K-pop choreography dancer. In 2018 he was introduced to the world of street dance which led to his passion in breaking. Ever since, his focus has been set on how he can improve as a bboy.
Being a founding member of Smoking Point Crew, Lars has been focusing on the fundamentals of breaking. This is seen in his teaching approach which heavily emphasizes creativity, freedom and foundation. He has been teaching breaking to teens and adults in various locations including Brooklyn Tech High school, NYC Recreation centers and Washington Square Park.
