Celebrating 25 Years - 2001-2026
Victoria Sepiashvili
Victoria Sepiashvili discovered her deep passion for dance at a very young age and dedicated herself to training in both classical and street styles, as well as competitive ballroom dancing. She became a U.S. National Latin Champion and was invited to represent the United States at the largest competition in the world, Blackpool Dance Festival. Victoria majored in dance at the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she was the youngest dancer selected to perform her own choreography at Rising Stars. For many years Victoria was a member of Broadway Dance Center’s Arts in Motion performance company, GenXS/GeNex hip-hop crew directed by Kelly Peters, and most recently toured the US as a teaching assistant at Lacey Schwimmer’s Ballroom Project dance convention. In 2024 Victoria reached new milestones in her career, performing live on NBC’s Today Show and at French rapper GIMS’s concert at Madison Square Garden.

Class Description:
International Latin Fusion:
Victoria’s International Latin Fusion class blends the five traditional International Latin dance styles (cha-cha, samba, rumba, paso doble, and jive) with street and classical dance elements. It is an open-level class designed for dancers of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Students will learn foundational techniques, roots and rhythms of each style, as well as versatile combos seamlessly fusing multiple dance genres. The focus will be placed on learning the mechanics of each style, practicing confidence and intentional movement, while having fun with explorative prompts and creative story-telling.
The class will start with a somatic warm-up, followed by technique break-down and drills, both in the center and across the floor. Dance concept games will be sprinkled throughout the class to teach dancers the importance of eye contact, dynamics, speed change, textures, musicality, floor craft, and improvisation. The class will culminate in a unique choreography, which will be performed multiple times with different assigned prompts to practice concepts taught during the games, so dancers could focus on one essential concept at a time. Victoria will end the class with a somatic cool-down and a reflective discussion. Students will walk away with new knowledge and skills that they can use in dance and beyond.
