Performance Intensives for Beginner Students

TERMS

When enrolling, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

• All purchases are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by PMT House of Dance. Once an intensive begins OR the intensive is full, enrollment fees are non-transferable. Otherwise, a credit can be issued for future use if the customer cancels their enrollment at least 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop.

• Number of classes: Over the course of the workshop, classes may be canceled due to holidays or unforeseen events. A minimum of 10.5 class hours are guaranteed. However, workshops often far exceed this minimum. The enrollment fee is good toward one intensive/workshop, only. 

• Number of performances: Students are entitled to 2 shows - performance is mandatory. Show assignments will be given after your intensive has begun. Participation in the workshop is contingent on your ability to perform. Please consult your teacher(s) and notify us if you have any scheduling issues or conflicts with either show day. Once assignments are given, they cannot be changed.

• Holiday Scheduling: No Intensives are held from 12/22 - 1/1 in observance of the holiday season. If a make up class is needed to meet the 10.5 hour minimum requirement, the teacher will schedule this make up class in correspondence with their students.

• Dress Rehearsal: This will take place throughout the day leading up to the shows. Please keep the show day completely open.

• Missed or lost classes cannot be redeemed, exchanged or refunded. It is the student's responsibility to attend classes and make arrangements to make up missed material.

• The teacher reserves the right to expel a student from a workshop if they do not meet the rules of etiquette, level expectation or attendance requirements set forth by the teacher or by PMT House of Dance.

• Performance is mandatory.

• Students will be allowed to enter class only after their registration is completed and their workshop(s) is paid for completely.

• LEVEL PLACEMENT

  The first day of the workshop will act as a day to assess level placement in addition to a class day. Each teacher reserves the right to place students as they see fit. Pre-screening may take place if the teacher is able to view a student in a drop in class.  Students are responsible for making sure they meet the level requirement of the class.  We recommend students attend a drop in class of that teacher before enrolling in any intensive/workshop(s) to make sure they meet the level requirements. If a teacher requires extra rehearsals to meet the performance goal, you are obligated to meet that performance goal and any rehearsals deemed necessary by the teacher.  Beginner Dance Intensives do require 3-6 months of training so students are familiar with the basics before committing to a performance endeavor. If a student signs up without this pre-requisite training, they may be asked or required to take additional classes to supplement their learning.

• All students will be asked to sign a waiver of liability. Students shall indemnify PMT House of Dance, their partners, teachers, staff, contracted workers and subsidiaries from any liabilities or loss, either physical, property, personal or otherwise. All students are attending rehearsals and performing at their own risk and in accordance with schedule provided to them by PMT House of Dance herein and/or via email correspondence or written material(s). 

• If a student contracts COVID-19, they may be permitted to learn the material remotely provided they are still able to perform COVID-19 free. This requires both teacher and PMT Management written consent. Please inquire pmthouseofdance@aol.com for more details.
